本周我们来学习和疲倦有关的词汇。
1. grumpy /'grʌmpɪ/
adj. 脾气坏的；感到烦躁的
e.g. Lack of sleep can make us grumpy and grouchy.
e.g. I was feeling grumpy and grouchy after a long flight.
补充：grouchy与grumpy相近：爱发牢骚的
e.g. I get grouchy when I'm tired. 
n. grump 爱发牢骚的人
e.g.  If you mope around all week during a rainy vacation with your family, don't be surprised if they call you a grump.
补充：mope around 没精打采的四处转。
2. weary /'wɪərɪ/
adj. 疲劳的；疲倦不堪的
e.g. I need to rest my weary eyes.
e.g. The miners were weary after a long shift.
注：shift 轮班制
adj. 厌倦的；厌烦的
搭配：be weary of
e.g. Young people weary of countless restrictions and fetters.
fetter n. 束缚
v. weary 使厌倦，使失去兴趣
e.g. Endless tasks completely weary me.
3. fatigue
n. 疲惫;疲劳;疲倦
e.g. Fatigue may affect a pilot's judgment of distances.
e.g. Some of the men were obliged to fall out from fatigue.

adj. fatiguing 某件事令人疲惫的
e.g. mentally, emotionally fatigued 心累；精神疲劳
e.g. Long distance flight is undeniably fatiguing.
4. release /rɪ'liːs/
v. 发行，推出(唱片、碟片或电影)
e.g. The album was originally released in 1974. 
e.g.  Her last hit movie was released in 2009.
注：hit movie 热门电影
n. 发行；发布
常见搭配：be on general release
e.g. The film was on general release last week.
