e.g. It seems that celebrities are over hyped in comparison to highly educated and professional people. (常年住热搜的那种)

e.g. There's been a lot of hype around/surrounding his latest film but
it failed to live up to all the hype.
4. exaggerate /ɪɡ'zædʒəret/
v. 夸大;夸张;
e.g. The press has exaggerated the whole event to make it sound more dramatic than it actually was.
e.g. Those ads are full of exaggerated claims! (广告中那些夸大产品功效的言论)
n. exaggeration
e.g. The report was filled with exaggerations and outright lies.
注:outright lies 赤裸裸的谎言
